Citrine Tumbles

Citrine is a golden-yellow variety of quartz known for its warm, sunny color and bright, uplifting energy. Its tones may range from pale honey and champagne yellow to deeper amber and orange-gold, giving each piece its own natural glow.

Geologically, citrine is silicon dioxide, the same mineral family as quartz, amethyst, and smoky quartz. Its yellow to golden color comes from trace amounts of iron within the crystal structure. Natural citrine is relatively uncommon, so much of the citrine available today is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz, which creates richer golden-orange tones.

Metaphysically, citrine is often associated with abundance, confidence, motivation, creativity, and personal power. Sometimes called a stone of prosperity, citrine is commonly used for manifestation work, business success, positive thinking, and energizing the solar plexus chakra.
